The semi-final of the 1st Innovation and Research Finding Transformation Competition of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College was held in SIP on Dec 9.

Sponsored by Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College, and organized by Suzhou Institute of Systems Medicine of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, the competition is designed to promote medical science and technology innovation and commercialization of research findings in academies and schools.

The competition attracted 217 projects designed to improve medical devices, biomedical technology and health care solutions, and 60 gained the entry to the semi-final.

In the event, the contestants presented their projects to the jurors, and listened to their advice on the future development of the projects.
