SceneRay, a medical devices company started out in SIP in 2011, broke ground on a headquarters base in SIP on Jan 22.

SceneRay focuses on development of deep brain stimulation solutions which can provide relief to patients with Parkinson’s disease and other movement and psychiatric disorders.

The project, with a total investment of RMB550 million, will be located in the Listed Companies Park on the bank of Wusong River, covering a land area of 23.1 mu (15,400 square meters). With a total floor area of 76,000 square meters, it will include a brain science research institute, R&D laboratories and training facilities for doctors. It is expected to achieve an annual output value of RMB2 billion after it comes into operation.
